Ackert Hook Holdings was formed to combine business and global markets experience towards investing and to solve business performance and positioning challenges with its partners.

Christian Mundigo is a senior executive with broad international and US leadership experience in finance, having held senior positions in New York, Tokyo and London.  During his 25 years in the fixed income, currencies and derivatives markets, he has developed and transformed global businesses, optimized business practices and methods, while strategically positioning the organization to achieve growth objectives and long term competitiveness.  Christian has managed distribution, research, risk, structuring and trading of all fixed income assets.  He is highly regarded for successfully integrating culturally diverse teams, fostering a responsive culture based on authenticity, accountability and mutual respect, and consistently delivering results.

Prior to Ackert Hook, Christian was the co-Head of Fixed Income, Americas for BNP Paribas and member of the Fixed Income Executive Committee, the CIB North America Regional Management Committee, and of the Advisory Board to Banco BNPP do Brazil.  In this capacity he provided business leadership to over 500 front office employees in the Americas whose revenues were in excess of 1B$.  During this period Christian was also the Global Head of Rates Trading from 2012 through 2013, activities whose production represented roughly 40% of the global Fixed Income division's budget.

Prior to his appointment to the Fixed Income Executive Committee, Christian was Head of Fixed Income Trading in the Americas and Global Co-Head of Credit Trading. His responsibilities included overseeing Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange and Credit Trading throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Additionally, he was mandated to grow, align and integrate BNPP’s global flow and structured credit trading capabilities while retaining their respective strengths.  Previously, he was Global co-Head of Credit trading; Head of Fixed Income Trading, Americas, and held senior leadership roles in London and Tokyo across European, Asian and Japanese activities.   

Christian has actively contributed to the development of the Fixed Income industry.  He was a founding chairman of the European Primary Dealers Association (EPDA) – an affiliate of The Bond Market Association (TBMA). Christian was a member of the board of directors of the BMA in 2005 and 2006, representing both the EPDA then BNP Paribas. In recognition of his role in the formation of the EPDA, he received TBMA Chairman's Achievement Award.  In 2010/2011, he co-Chaired the Rates Committee of AFME and SIFMA.

Christian has served as a member of the Board of Markit from 2010 through 2014.  Markit is a provider of financial information services, whose customers span from banks to funds, auditors and regulators across the globe.

Ackert Hook invests in small businesses where its background is accretive to the success of the company. Thus it acts as both investor and as a management resource.  Example:  TechCo enables financial companies to integrate the cloud into their infrastructure.  AHH is now on their board-of-directors.
